The RMIT Entrée CD was a team effort with a major contribution from DTP Design. It was commissioned by the Victorian Government Education Dept. as part of a statewide training program for 16-19 years olds who wanted to learn all about how to build a web site. This program was run in many TAFE colleges throughout Victoria and 400 students participated at the same time.

DTP Design managed all of the post-course phases which included the management and hosting of all the students web sites produced during their participation in the course. We ran this course very successfully for its 2 year duration.

The CD contained all the course material which was written and programmed by DTP Design and contained many aspects including HTML coding, image creation and web site structuring. It even had features built in that students could use to log on to RMIT servers for their final assessment.

The Nidac CDROM was an intensive exercise in security product promotion by DTP Design. The CD contained all the company's products. It also contained their complete functional web site, product images in hi-res for use by their retailers in their own advertising, PDF versions (with images and text) of all Nidac products for inclusion on web sites and illustrated wiring diagrams of the products to enable technicians to correctly install the products on site.

Nidac retailers were stunned when they realised that they had just one resource that enabled them to access every aspect of Nidac's security products - from advertising to installation, everything was right there on the CDROM.

The benefits of this kind of product promotion and distribution are not always obvious at the outset, Nidac experienced a substantial reduction of time spent by their employees on phone enquiries and explantions at the counter.
