The cost of your package will depend on the services and facilities we will provide to
your company. We always respond to enquiries in a timely manner, usually on the same day.
Data Centre
DTP Design's servers are located in Brisbane in the AAPT/Connect IDC (Wickham Street).
Our Premium Data Centre is of a Tier-1 standard and carefully selected
to achieve maximum uptime, stability and redundancy, and features the
following specifications:
- Climate Control
- Raised flooring with redundant air conditioning
- UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
- 3x Backup Diesel Generators
- APC Power Distribution Units
- Dual Power Grids (Brisbane City and Fortitude Valley)
- (The only building in Brisbane to have dual power feeds from 2 different power grids)
- VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Alarm)
- Swipe card with PIN, photo identity and password checks for access
- DC Level only avaiable via swipe card
- Each cabinet is individually locked and not keyed alike
- 24x7 Security. Strictly limited access
Network
Our redundant is built to ensure maximum network connectivity and
uptime. We do this by selecting multiple high quality data providers
who themselves have multiple fail-over connections between each state
of Australian and Overseas. Utilising BGP protocols not only is the
best path taken, but also allows us to re-route traffic to another
provider if one should fail.
Further to this is the connection to Pipenetworks Internet eXchange
Australia wide. This means that if your ISP connects to Pipenetworks,
the path between the servers and your connection will be shorter, and
data downloaded from the servers to you is classed by many ISP's as
free data and may not be counted towards your monthly download limits
by your ISP.
